The Pacific Gateway Cargo Center was conceived to capitalize on the strengths of the Southern California region. At a global distribution crossroads with access to road, rail, and marine ports, LA-Ontario is central to the growing Los Angeles metro area with a population of 16 million. Part of the Los Angeles World Airport System, LA-Ontario is emerging as a major cargo and passenger airport. Over 285 million square feet of warehouse space exists in Ontario and key industry leaders, such as UPS and FedEx, have locations at the airport.
